FedEx's Margaritis named Page Society president

CHICAGO: The Arthur Page Society has named Bill Margaritis, SVP of global communications and IR at FedEx Corporation, president of the organization.

CHICAGO: The Arthur Page Society has named Bill Margaritis, SVP of global communications and IR at FedEx Corporation, president of the organization. The appointment was announced at the group's annual business meeting, taking place in Chicago. Margaritis oversees the PR for FedEx and its subsidiaries, including global reputation management, employee communication, IR, and social responsibility programs. He will begin his term on January 1, 2010, succeeding Maril MacDonald, CEO of Gagen MacDonald.

The Arthur Page Society also named five trustees to the board of directors: Barry Caldwell, SVP of government affairs and corporate communications at Waste Management; Herbert Heitmann, SVP of global communications at SAP; Sandra MacLeod, CEO of Echo Research; Sally Benjamin Young, VP of communications at Lundbeck; and Kimberly White, SVP of corporate communications at Baxter International.
