NEW YORK: The Zeno Group named Barby Siegel the firm's CEO, following current CEO Lynn Hanessian's return to the Edelman health practice.

Siegel, the MD of global consumer marketing at Ogilvy PR Worldwide and an Edelman veteran, will report to Richard Edelman, president and CEO of Daniel J. Edelman. She is scheduled to start November 2 and will be based in the New York office.

Hanessian, the firm's CEO since October 2007, has been tapped to lead Edelman Bio, a new initiative that will focus on science and biomedical communications, as president. She will report to Nancy Turett, global president of the health practice, as well as Matt Harrington, president and CEO of Edelman US, and will be based in Chicago.

In September, the Zeno Group added Andrea Morgan as MD of its New York office, following the departure of Don Hannaford, who joined Levick Strategic Communications.

Ogilvy said it is conducting an internal and external search but has not named a replacement or interim MD.
