Bank of America said this week that it will bring back the Merrill Lynch name and bull logo as part of a $20-million marketing effort scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

Bank of America said this week that it will bring back the Merrill Lynch name and bull logo as part of a $20-million marketing effort scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

An ad campaign will target affluent and high-net-worth investors while the marketing portion will aim toillustrate how advisers can help clients reach their financial goals. It is called the “help2? campaign.

Bank of America, which bought Merrill Lynch last September at the height of the financial crisis, has come under fire recently for the way in which a round of Merrill Lynches bonuses were handled.
