Michelle Obama is promoting her support of healthcare reform by tying her message to breast cancer awareness on Friday, October 23, at a White House event she hosted with Jill Biden for breast cancer awareness month.

Michelle Obama is promoting her support of healthcare reform by tying her message to breast cancer awareness on Friday, October 23, at a White House event she hosted with Jill Biden for breast cancer awareness month.

She also made a video that is posted to iVillage, talking about why women should support healthcare reform. Kathleen Sebelius, Health and Human Services Secretary, will be answering questions online about the video and healthcare reform gathered by iVillage next week.

Just three days earlier, The New York Times reported that President Barack Obama had grown "noticeably quieter" in the healthcare reform debate and is intentionally lowering his voice on the issue.
