MPAA promotes Howard Gantman

WASHINGTON: The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) promoted Howard Gantman to VP of corporate communications.

WASHINGTON: The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) promoted Howard Gantman to VP of corporate communications. Gantman, who has experience in public affairs and crisis communications, came to the MPAA in August as senior communications consultant. Prior to that, he was Senator Dianne Feinstein's staff director of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. In his new position, Gantman will oversee MPAA's communications program from the Washington office, while Elizabeth Kaltman, VP of corporate communications, oversees efforts in Los Angeles.*

*CORRECTION: A previous version reported that Gantman oversees communications efforts in Los Angeles, when, in fact, Kaltman oversees efforts in Los Angeles. We regret the error.
