Ogilvy hires Shaw as digital strategist

SAN FRANCISCO: Ogilvy PR has hired Dirk Shaw as SVP of its 360 Digital Influence Practice. Shaw will oversee the strategic planning and creative deployment of social media.

SAN FRANCISCO: Ogilvy PR has hired Dirk Shaw as SVP of its 360 Digital Influence Practice. Shaw will oversee the strategic planning and creative deployment of social media.

Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Shaw was a social media strategist for Vignette, designing and implementing social media and marketing strategies for an enterprise software provider. Shaw also previously worked at Macquarium. In addition, he cofounded a company called Aperio, developing digital business solutions and marketing strategies for a variety of clients.
