NEW YORK: Cohn & Wolfe tapped MaryEllen O'Donohue as EVP of strategy and client service, effective February 9. O'Donohue is one of three senior-level healthcare hires that the firm has made since the start of 2010.

It said last week that it had named Mike Kan its global healthcare practice leader and it announced in January that it had hired Wendy Lund as the first CEO of GCI Health.

In her new position, O'Donohue will focus on healthcare clients and will also provide counsel for corporate, technology, and consumer clients. She will report to Stephanie Marchesi, president of Cohn & Wolfe New York.

O'Donohue, former SVP and director of North America healthcare at MS&L Worldwide, along with MS&L healthcare executives Lund and Monique da Silva, left the firm in January.
