Social media strategist Wayne Sutton is promoting various social media experts on his blog for 28 Days of Diversity and Black History Month. Twelve days into the month, Sutton has profiled folks including Tristan Walker, head of business development for Foursquare; Gwen Peake, global digital communications manager for Ford; Jessica Faye Carter, founder and CEO of new media company Nette Media; and blogger Gina McCauley.

"The goal of 28 Days of Diversity is to feature someone new everyday for the month of February for just being awesome in their own right," Sutton writes on his blog. "The list will include some of leaders in the social web space, startups, bloggers, conference organizers, IT professionals, and friends not ranked in any particular order."

Sutton is also promoting the blog and #28DaysOfDiversity through Twitter.
