US Hispanic Social Media Guide debuts

The Hispanic PR Association (HPRA), Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), and the Hispanic PR Blog released their 2010-2011 US Hispanic Social Media Guide today.

The Hispanic PR Association (HPRA), Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), and the Hispanic PR Blog released their 2010-2011 US Hispanic Social Media Guide today. The guide focuses on trends, issues, and information about how companies can reach the US Hispanic audience through digital and social media. Communicators can register to receive the guide online.

Several communications experts contributed to the guide, including Armando Azarloza, president of The Axis Agency; Jose Villa, president of Sensis; Paul M. Rand, president and CEO of Zócalo Group and president of WOMMA; Gaby Alban, co-founder and COO of Conexión; Cristy Clavijo-Kish, SVP of multicultural services at PR Newswire; and Midy Aponte, founder of the Sanchez Ricardo Agency.

The three organizations behind the Guide will also be hosting roundtables and industry events in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami, among other cities.
