Airport renamed in honor of H&K vice chairman

NEW YORK: San Jose International Airport is to be renamed Mineta San Jose International Airport in honor of Hill & Knowlton vice chairman Norman Mineta.

NEW YORK: San Jose International Airport is to be renamed Mineta San Jose International Airport in honor of Hill & Knowlton vice chairman Norman Y. Mineta. Before joining H&K in 2006, Mineta was secretary of the United States Departments of Transportation and Commerce.

CORRECTION: This brief inaccurately reports that the San Jose International Airport will be renamed after Norman Y. Mineta. The airport was named after Mineta in November 2001—this recent event was a reopening after major renovation.
