Edelman launches integrated marketing unit

NEW YORK: Edelman launched an integrated marketing business unit, which it said can compete with boutique marketing firms.

NEW YORK: Edelman launched an integrated marketing business unit, which it said can compete with boutique marketing firms.

The unit, called Ruth: Edelman Integrated Marketing, offers branding, graphic design, direct consumer advertising, events, and mobile marketing. Patrick McGuire, president of US creative at Edelman, has been named of president of Ruth.

Matt Harrington, president and CEO of Edelman US, oversees the unit, as well as Edelman's other specialty business units, including Blue, Matter, DJE Science, and StrategyOne. He said that McGuire's new role as president of Ruth is a formalization of his duties as head of US creative for Edelman.

Edelman says that Ruth clients include eBay, Pfizer, Starbucks, and Samsung, and that the unit's services are available for the health, technology, and consumer goods industries.
