GCI Health hires two to lead new practice

NEW YORK: GCI Health launched a patient education practice and hired Sharon Savel and Cathy Fink as practice leaders.

NEW YORK: GCI Health launched a patient education practice and hired Sharon Savel and Cathy Fink as practice leaders. The new practice, called Synchronicity, offers interactive patient programs, influencer outreach, adherence programs, and healthcare provider education initiatives. 

Savel and Fink most recently served as principals at RxEd, a patient education group owned by Baer Consulting. They both started in August and report to Wendy Lund, CEO of GCI Health. Savel and Fink founded The Eden Communications Group, a healthcare communications firm that was sold to Omnicom Group in 2000.
