Venturoni to replace Luce as president, Weber Shandwick Southwest

DALLAS: Weber Shandwick is promoting Jody Venturoni to president of Weber Shandwick Southwest, after Ken Luce leaves the position at the end of October, according to a memo obtained by PRWeek.

DALLAS: Weber Shandwick is promoting Jody Venturoni to president of Weber Shandwick Southwest, after Ken Luce leaves the position at the end of October, according to a memo obtained by PRWeek.

Venturoni, EVP and GM of Weber Southwest, will manage the Southwest region, which includes the agency's Dallas and Austin offices. Luce will continue to work with the agency in a senior consultant capacity.

Luce, who joined the agency in 1996, served as president of Weber Shandwick Southwest and took over duties for California in 2004. He was also named president of global client management in 2008.

"It's been a good ride for me at Weber Shandwick and I have been privileged to work with some really great people," Luce told PRWeek. "It was just time for me to look at other opportunities outside of Weber."

The agency said is does not comment on personnel moves.
