Kempner receives White House appointment

President Barack Obama appointed Michael Kempner, president and CEO of MWW Group, to the newly created White House Council for Community Solutions earlier this week.

President Barack Obama appointed Michael Kempner, president and CEO of MWW Group, to the newly created White House Council for Community Solutions earlier this week.

Other appointees include Tulane University president Scott Cowen, Jon Bon Jovi, eBay President and CEO John Donahoe, and Goodwill Industries President and CEO Jim Gibbons. The council members are expected to advise President Obama on addressing community needs.
