NEW YORK: Social media consumer participation tool Crowdtap has opened its platform to marketers. The service has been in beta up until now, with Weber Shandwick and GolinHarris among the agencies that have partnered with service.

NEW YORK:  Social media consumer participation tool Crowdtap has opened its platform to marketers. The service has been in beta up until now, with Weber Shandwick and GolinHarris among the agencies that have partnered with service.

The service allows brands to gain insight into targeted crowds and consumers with such things as games and polls, and then leverages those actions to gain influence in the social and peer-to-peer sphere.
