Deutsche Bank promotes Kelly to new comms role

NEW YORK: Frank Kelly has been promoted to the newly created position head of communications and public affairs for Deutsche Bank, Americas.

NEW YORK: Frank Kelly has been promoted to the newly created position head of communications and public affairs for Deutsche Bank, Americas.

Kelly previously served as MD and head of government affairs for the Americas. He joined Deutsche Bank seven years ago and has worked in various roles, including head of US direct investment advisory group, and chief US political risk strategist.

Before Deutsche Bank, he was SVP and head of government affairs at Charles Schwab & Co., and VP and head of marketing and communications at Merrill Lynch & Co. His experience also spans a number of government roles, including chief spokesman and deputy director of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, and deputy associate director of the White House Office of Public Affairs, while President Ronald Reagan was in office.
