Beverly Hills Courier expands coverage to luxury lifestyle

BEVERLY HILLS, CA: The Beverly Hills Courier, a weekly newspaper, will launch its new Fashion Forward! section on May 11 at the Paley Center for Media in New York, in an effort to raise its profile among members of the fashion, luxury travel, and advertising industries.

NEW YORK: The Beverly Hills Courier, a weekly newspaper, will launch its new Fashion Forward! section on May 11 at the Paley Center for Media in New York, in an effort to raise its profile among members of the fashion, luxury travel, and advertising industries.

The new monthly print and online section will focus on the fashion aspects of luxury living in Beverly Hills, according to Clif Smith, publisher of the Beverly Hills Courier.

The fashion-focused outlet's launch event, which will feature Joan Rivers and columnist George Christy, is designed to help members of the fashion industry, media buyers, and PR professionals who work in the fashion space to become familiar with the publication and its new section. 

“We want luxury brand fashion marketers in New York to know about this newspaper,” Said Jeff Graubard, president of The Graubard Group, which is working with the publication on the event and the launch.

Smith adds that the event is a way to introduce the NY fashion industry to the publication and allow them to learn that the magazine's affluent consumer audience makes the publication an excellent choice for advertising, media buying, and luxury consumer PR outreach.

“The headquarters of the [fashion] industry is New York and we intend to be serious players in fashion so we're going to where the center is,” Smith says of this New York focused outreach.

In an additional effort to raise brand awareness for the Beverly Hills Courier and its website, the PR team is launching an online contest called “Live Like a Legend,” which will award one media, advertising, marketing, or luxury brand professional with a trip to Los Angeles.
