SAN FRANCISCO: Skyy Spirits, a Gruppo Campari Company, selected New York-based Alison Brod Public Relations as AOR for Skyy Vodka and Skyy Infusions, following an RFI issued in February.
Alison Brod is on board to handle consumer PR, online buzz generation, and event publicity. The firm will also support two other brands, X-Rated Fusion liqueur, and Midori Melon liqueur, as well as collaborate with Again Interactive, Skyy's current social media agency.
Dave Karraker, director of PR and events at Skyy Spirits, said Alison Brod had already been working with the Skyy brand this spring on a project basis for the launch of its new Skyy Infusions Dragon Fruit product.
"We selected Alison Brod based on their Millennial consumer strategy experience, chemistry with the internal team, and their pit bull media relations skills," he added.
Seven-year incumbent The Rose Group was not invited to the review last month. Karraker would not comment on budget.
Alison Brod was not immediately available for comment.
