BerlinRosen boosts staff with hires, promotions

NEW YORK: BerlinRosen Public Affairs has expanded its team through a series of promotions and new hires in its New York office.

NEW YORK: BerlinRosen Public Affairs has expanded its team through a series of promotions and new hires in its New York office.

David Cantor joins as co-managing director of the New York practice. He previously served as SVP at Widmeyer Communications in the education, arts, and philanthropy practice. Before Widmeyer, he served as press secretary to New York City Schools Chancellor Joel Klein.

Michael Rabinowitz has been promoted to serve as the other co-managing director of the New York practice. Rabinowitz will work with corporate, non-profit, union, and campaign clients. His prior experience includes serving as a member of the Working Families Executive Committee.

Jackie Kessel has been promoted to VP, where she will advise major non-profit, corporate and union clients in campaign planning, coalition building, and media strategy. Before joining BerlinRosen in 2005, Jackie was a communications aide to then-NY State Senator David A. Paterson.

Other additions include Bridget Cusick, who joins as a senior associate in the agency's creative services practice, and Lynsey Kryzwick, who joins as a senior associate in the national labor and issue advocacy practice.
