Edelman announces new specialty division

WASHINGTON: Edelman added a new DC-based specialty called Alliances Group to help clients engage third parties to shape perceptions on a variety of policy issues and social cause programs.

WASHINGTON: Edelman added a new DC-based specialty called Alliances Group to help clients engage third parties to shape perceptions on a variety of policy issues and social cause programs.

Edelman EVP Lee Lynch will lead the division, which will include staff throughout the US and abroad. Edelman VPs Kriston Alford McIntosh and Brian Wise have also been added to the Alliances Group.

McIntosh previously served as staff director of the US Senate Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee, leading coalition-building efforts for the US Senate Democratic Caucus and serving as chief liaison to advocacy groups.

Prior to joining Edelman, Wise founded Leading America, a firm specializing in strategic campaigns for corporate, charitable, policy, and political clients. He is the current chairman of the board of Leading America Foundation.
