NEW YORK: Edelman hired Rob Six as EVP and group head of its public affairs division in New York.
In his new position, Six will lead a team of 42, overseeing a "diverse" array of campaigns. Edelman's public affairs division creates programs that aim to influence public opinion, promote legislative intiatives, and shape policy at local and global levels. Clients include the 9/11 Memorial, Stanford University, the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Foundation, GE Aviation, and Bombardier.
Prior to joining Edelman, Six was VP of corporate communications at $2 billion privately owned US corporation Roll Global for four years. Roll Global's brands include FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Paramount, Teleflora, and Pistachio Health. Six also served as VP at GolinHarris and worked on Senator Jay Rockefeller's communications team in Washington, DC.
