BOSTON: Boston-based PR firm 360 Public Relations is moving into New York City and has appointed Rob Bratskeir EVP and GM of the new office.
Bratskeir previously spent 17 years as a consultant to PR firms and consumer marketers under the Bratskeir & Company banner, developing integrated campaigns for food and beverage, retail, healthcare, toy, and spirits brands.
Agency founder and CEO, Laura Tomasetti, said: “It will give us greater access to clients, West Coast clients who are regularly in and out of New York, and a broader talent pool.”
Bratskeir will also serve as creative director across the whole agency, which employs 25 people in Boston. He wound down most of his existing clients but is bringing over Italian coffee brand Illy, for which he does corporate work, to 360 PR.
Tomasetti explained that the agency has had a good year for new business, winning clients including Hasbro's Wizards of the Coast trading cards and role-playing games division, Honeywell Home Environment, and a CSR assignment for JetBlue Airways.
“The consumer segment is way up,” she added. “Brands are recognizing they have to do even more to break through. There's an opportunity for them to be a more consistent part of consumers' daily lives through social media.”
Existing clients include Disney Publishing, Stonyfield Farm, Allstar Products Group, Thompson Brands, and JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge.
360 Public Relations posted revenue of $3.4 million in 2010 and Tomasetti said it was on track to hit $4.2 million in 2011 - its 10th year in business - growth of almost 25%.
“We started slowly in Q1 but had a strong Q2 and Q3,” said Tomasetti. “Our busiest month this year was August.”
