NEW YORK: J. Graeme McWhirter has stepped down from his role as chairman and CEO of Medialink subsidiary Teletrax.

He will now serve as an independent consultant for some of Teletrax's key initiatives, which include expanding growth globally as well as into different industries.

"It was a joint decision which happens in the course of any rapidly growing evolving business," said Larry Moskowitz, president and CEO of Medialink. "[Teletrax has] reached critical mass in terms of its structure, which presented new opportunities and new challenges."

With the logistics of the Teletrax system in place, Moskowitz said the company is looking to become more marketing focused. "We'll be seeking a well known, very powerful, active person with an extensive broadcasting background, not domestically but internationally," he said.
