NEW YORK: GCI has appointed Stephanie Marchesi as president of GCI New York. As director of the firm’s largest office, she will work with such clients as Schick, Major League Baseball, Genentech, and Boehringer Ingelheim.

Stephanie joins from Manning, Selvage and Lee (MS&L) where she held several executive level positions, including co-director of the US healthcare practice, executive director of the agency's eastern region, and, most recently, director of business and strategy development for North America.

Prior to MS&L, Stephanie spent seven years at Ketchum as a senior manager in the healthcare practice and was instrumental to its growth during that period.

"Stephanie's experience with virtually every facet of our business across all disciplines uniquely qualifies her to lead our flagship office," said Jeff Hunt, president and CEO of GCI, in a statement.  "She has a strong background in business development and proven skills in developing agency talent."

GCI today has 39 offices in 27. Global clients include Dell, Bayer, British Airways, BMW, and Medtronic.
