NEW YORK: Omnicom Group today reported that PR represented 10% of its overall revenue last year, generating slightly more than $1 billion, an increase of 2.1% versus 2004.
In the fourth quarter last year, PR, generated $267.3 million, 9.1% of Omnicom's revenue, and reflecting an increase of 1.3% over the fourth quarter in 2004.
Domestic revenue for the year grew as well to $5.7 million from $5.2 million in 2004, an increase of 10%.
The company also reported an increase of 9% in net income for 2005 to $790.7 million from $723.5 million in 2004. Omnicom's net income in Q4 increased 7% to $256 million, compared to $236.5 million in Q4 of 2004.
