GPC Public Affairs to join Fleishman-Hillard

TORONTO: GPC Public Affairs, a communications, government relations, and opinion research firm owned by Fleishman-Hillard, will be now be part of the Fleishman-Hillard Canada brand.

TORONTO: GPC Public Affairs, a communications, government relations, and opinion research firm owned by Fleishman-Hillard, will be now be part of the Fleishman-Hillard Canada brand.

Linda Smith, Fleishman-Hillard SVP, senior partner, and regional director said, in a statement, that F-H Canada needed to add public affairs and regulatory expertise. GPC has offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver.

"Our clients are increasingly facing public affairs and regulatory challenges and they expect us to provide seamless and expert support," Smith said. "GPC's track record now enables us to deliver better results than any other firm in Canada."

The firm will be jointly led by Michael von Herff, GPC EVP, and Smith. Both will serve as co-chairs of a newly-established national management committee. GPC's senior counsel will comprise of former Canadian government and business leaders, who will counsel clients.
