SAN FRANCISCO: Digital juke- box company Ecast has selected KCSA as its first ever corporate AOR.

Ecast's digital jukeboxes, which are broadband-enabled, can be found in 8,000 bars and restaurants and play 14 million songs per month.

"Our client is in expansion mode. One of the reasons they hired a PR firm is to expand their geographic footprint," said Henry Feintuch, KCSA managing partner.

Ecast recently announced it has secured $20 million in funding to invest in a variety of efforts, including sales and marketing.

While KCSA will focus on national media relations and campaigns, it will also equip third-party operators, who install the jukeboxes in establishments, with video footage and boilerplate press releases to pitch to local media.

KCSA also plans to conduct surveys on the jukeboxes and use the results for pitching, press releases, and other promotional purposes.

Billings for the one-year contract are undisclosed.
