SURESNES, FRANCE: Global holding company Havas today reported 2006 full-year revenue of €1.472 billion ($1.906 billion), citing what it called "real growth in annual revenue" for the first time in five years.

Still, excluding exchange rate and scope of consolidation changes, the company's organic growth over the past 12 months was essentially flat. Havas' 2005's annual revenue was €1.461 billion ($1.892 billion), a difference of 0.6%.

Healthcare and corporate communications performed well across the globe, in especially in the UK and France. North America "enjoyed a return to growth in Q4," according to Havas, and "healthcare and corporate communications again proved extremely dynamic," according to the statement, particularly via efforts by Euro RSCG.
