Omnicom posts growth across the board, PR leading Q4

NEW YORK: Omnicom announced revenues of $11.37 billion in 2005, an increase of 8.5% from 2005, when revenues were $10.48 billion. Revenues in Q4 increased 9.4% to $3.21 billion from $2.93 billion from the same period in 2005, while net income in Q4 increased 9.7% to $277.2 million from the same period in 2005. PR showed the highest growth among marketing disciplines in Q4; with billings at $310.7 million, PR revenues increased 16.4% from the same period in 2005. PR figures grew 10% for the entire year. US billings were $6.19 billion, more than half of the holding company’s revenue. Total US growth was $450 million in 2006.
