M&F wins Rockport account

NEW YORK: Maloney & Fox (M&F) has been named AOR for Rockport brands, the international shoe company.

NEW YORK: Maloney & Fox (M&F) has been named AOR for Rockport brands, the international shoe company.

The agency won the account following an RFP, according to M&F spokesperson Lydia Voles. Partner Brian Maloney and Julie Levinthal, head of M&F's fashion and luxury division, will lead the account.

The account will cover Rockport's women's footwear and men's footwear divisions, as well as new product introductions. The men's footwear work includes the I.travel and Established 1971 Rockport brands. The agency will handle all of the company's media relations duties in those sectors, including consumer, industry, and trade press.

Neither the size of the account nor the other contenders were disclosed.

Rockport has been credited with creating-and leading-the "walking shoe" market.

M&F also recently won assignment-based accounts for both the Bacardi Innovations Division, and for the American College Health Association.
