Ketchum continues Russian-related work

WASHINGTON: Ketchum recently completed a two-month, $847,000 contract with the Russian Federation to promote energy security, foreign investment in the Russia, and Russia’s bid to join the World Trade Organization. Ketchum helped arrange meetings between Russian government officials and the media, US officials, and academics and other “third-party” experts; and helped develop messaging for interviews, speeches, fact sheets, and other materials, according to a filing with the Justice Department. Ketchum last year handled media relations for Russia’s G8 presidency, which ended December 31.
