Silicon Valley's GigaOm, engadget, CNET and everyone else in the known universe is reporting that Apple plans to unleash (but not unlock) its highly anticipated iPhone on June 11, according to a guy at Cingular.

Judging from Steve Jobs' product demo at Macworld 2007, I am not so sure this phone won't appeal to business customers, as a lot of critics on tech sites are saying. I sure don't want to hang on to my clunky Blackberry that doesn't even sync with my laptop. Apple is reporting high demand for the new phones, so let's just hope there won't be lines at midnight June 11 around Cingular stores, and no one gets hurt like during the PlayStation 3 melees.
