Barry named CIA entertainment liaison

WASHINGTON: Paul Barry has been named the new entertainment liaison at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), succeeding Chase Brandon, who retired. As part of the public affairs department, veteran officer Barry will serve as a contact for writers and other creative talents involved in film, TV, books, and other media, helping “give their projects a greater sense of authenticity” by advising on scripts and stories, arranging interviews, and facilitating visits to CIA Headquarters, the agency said.
