The show, which CBS had scheduled for discontinuation at the end of this season, was officially revived Wednesday afternoon, when network brass committed to an additional seven episodes.
According to Jeffrey Knoll, one of the leaders of the grassroots "Save Jericho" campaign, the news is testimony to the fact that when thousands of people come together with one common goal, even "one of the largest corporations in America [can be moved] to change a business decision to meet the needs of consumers."
