SANTA MONICA, CA: Not one to get lost in the shadow of AOL's TMZ.com (at least not for too long), Yahoo yesterday launched omg, its own online destination for breaking celebrity news, features, videos, and photos.

Access Hollywood has signed on as omg's primary content provider, supplying the site with at least five original stories and videos every day. Omg has also forged partnerships with paparazzi celeb photo agencies Splash News and X17 for exclusive online pics.

CarryOn Communications, in LA and New York, is handling PR for the site, as part of its work with Yahoo Entertainment.
