NEW YORK: Genpact Limited, an international business and technology services company, has selected Gavin Anderson & Company (GA&Co) to serve as its IR adviser in preparation for an IPO and listing on the NYSE.

Gavin Anderson will provide IR counsel and media relations services, targeting investors and securities analysts through financial news and trade media. Genpact was founded in India in 1997 and has since expanded with operations centers in China, Hungary, and the US, among other countries.

"Most of our large global clients are listed [on the NYSE] and therefore are under the scrutiny of outside directors, shareholders, and regulatory agencies," said David Jensen, SVP of marketing, communicators, and IR for Genpact, via e-mail. "It makes sense to join this community of public companies. It will help our overall competitiveness and provide additional capital inflows to reinvest in the business."

Genpact's registration to the SEC was filed in May. The company is principally owned by General Electric and two private equity firms, General Atlantic and Oak Hill Capital Partners, who will each be selling an as yet undetermined amount of shares in the stock offering.
