Academy of Country Music revamps marketing team

ENCINO, CA: The Academy of Country Music has hired Brooke Primero as senior director of publicity and marketing, and Lisa Lee as senior director of creative development. Both will report directly to Academy executive director Bob Romeo. Primero joins the Academy from BNC (Bragman Nyman Cafarelli), where she previously served as senior director. Lee was formerly West Coast news editor and LA correspondent for MTV Networks' CMT News. In addition to managing day-to-day publicity, promotions, advertising, and creative duties surrounding the Academy's Country Music Awards, the team will focus on building greater media exposure for the Academy and country music in general.
