GPG hires, promotes several execs

WASHINGTON: Glover Park Group has announced several new hires and promotions. Joyce Brayboy, previously chief of staff to Rep. Melvin Watt (D-NC), joins as SVP in the legislative affairs division in DC. Peter Kauffman, most recently a US Navy intelligence officer and prior to that the press secretary to Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), joins as a VP in GPG’s New York office, focusing on public affairs and corporate and other integrated campaigns. Brenda O’Connor, previously VP of public affairs for the American Insurance Association, joins as VP in the DC public affairs practice. In addition, current GPG staffers Arik Ben-Zvi, David Cantor, and Victoria Esser have been named SVPs.
