Smith joins H&K DC as senior advisor

WASHINGTON: Douglas A. Smith has joined Hill & Knowlton’s DC office as a senior advisor on US public affairs. Smith previously led the successful bid by Chicago to be the US candidature city for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In his new role, Smith will be a consultant for the Chicago 2016 effort. Smith is also a former chief of staff for the Academy of Achievement and a VP for Leo Burnett Worldwide.
