Burson expands healthcare practice

NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller has expanded its global healthcare practice, announcing the addition of two new directors in Gail Switsky and Beth Rowan. Both are to be based in New York and will report to Ame Wadler, chair of Burson's global healthcare practice. Switsky, previously a consultant for DeVries Public Relations, will manage projects for large multinational healthcare companies in the health technology and dermatology/aesthetics space. Rowan, formerly an SVP at Ruder Finn, will focus her efforts on prescription, OTC and consumer products for Burson's healthcare practice.
