Havas reports Q2 revenue growth

SURESNES, FRANCE: Global holding company Havas has reported first-half organic revenue growth of 4.4% to approximately US $1 billion, a 1.3% increase compared to the same period in 2006. Following an adequate first quarter, the Paris-based company reported a Q2 organic-growth increase of 5.4%. Havas also saw US $1.7 billion in net new business growth so far this year, nearly $1 billion of that in Q2. The group contributed its global revenue increases in large part to organic and new business growth, notably in the areas of healthcare, corporate communications, and media consulting.
