Coffee company taps SMA for American launch

NEW YORK: The Susan Magrino Agency (SMA) has been named AOR by illy caffe North America.

NEW YORK: The Susan Magrino Agency (SMA) has been named AOR by illy caffe North America.

SMA will be charged with executing a number of initiatives including the launch of the first US-based espressamente bar, which is scheduled to open in the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas this coming November. The agency will also work on a variety of projects aimed at promoting the company’s commitment to quality, sustainability, education, and the culinary and art communities.

Myra Fiori, PR director, illy caffe North America, said SMA’s history with “top restaurateurs, hotels, and consumer and luxury goods, aligns well with our overall growth strategies.” Illycaffe SpA, illy caffe’s parent group, is a privately held, family-owned premium coffee company.
