Publicis acquires Wcube

PARIS: Publicis Groupe has acquired Wcube, a French Internet communications agency. Effective immediately, the company will be rebranded as Publicis Modem France and will become a part of the Publicis Worldwide global network. Publicis Modem is an international digital network that became part of Publicis last May. This Paris acquisition adds to the list of Publicis Modem offices, which also includes London, New York, San Francisco, and Connecticut. Wcube clients included designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, Sprite, and Lee Jeans. Wcube co-presidents Xavier Gury and Thierry Vendewalle will manage Publicis Modem France, reporting to Publicis France CEO, Philippe Lentschener.
