Apple's decision to drop the iPhone's price just months after its hyped launch definitely put the company's brand loyalty to the test. The San Francisco Chronicle even asked a handful of iPhone owners if they felt cheated by the move. Based on their responses, it looks like the early adopters are standing by their man -- Steve Jobs. One iPhone owner says:

One pays a premium to have the coolest toys on the block, so no whining here. I even had fun (yes fun!) hanging out in line eating bread, cheese, fruit, and truth be known, a very nice cabernet. If I thought this was a pre-calculated move I might be upset, but Apple also discontinued the 4G model. It appears that Apple simply watched sales and reacted quickly. I'm actually rather impressed. This is a company hitting on all cylinders.
