Burson aiding Microsoft in Google battle

NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller is working on a campaign to "convince Internet companies, advertisers, and regulators to oppose" Google's proposed $3.1 billion acquisition of online advertising firm DoubleClick, according to the Wall Street Journal. The paper reported that Microsoft, a Burson client, is behind the drive to block the deal.
