What are the key things a PR agency should be looking for when it is hiring new employees?

Employees play an integral part in an organization's performance, so having the right people in place is vital to enjoying widespread success.

Employees play an integral part in an organization's performance, so having the right people in place is vital to enjoying widespread success. Hiring people who really mesh with the agency culture and can deliver results on behalf of all clients is a hard, but attainable, balance.

Though traditional education and experience are important when considering new hires, passion is paramount. Firms should strive to find those shining stars who offer solid character traits and innate capabilities. If you find the right people, they will be self-motivated and become your greatest asset.

PR success is often based upon recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities for clients, and new hires have a voracious appetite for information in various subjects. This will guarantee that they're well-versed on current events and will be able to spot a valuable opportunity.
