Weiner leaving Ketchum

NEW YORK: Mark Weiner, SVP and global research director of Ketchum, has resigned his post at Ketchum, effective immediately. He will stay on through month-end to help with the transition. David Rockland, partner and MD of Ketchum's Global Research Network, will continue to oversee that practice and retain responsibility for Ketchum Interactive. Weiner joined Ketchum in May 2007 after serving as CEO and president of Delahaye, the research consulting firm that is now a part of Cision. He plans to pursue entrepreneurial leadership opportunities in PR, corporate communications, and reputation management, and write a follow-up to his 2006 book Unleashing the Power of PR.
