MultiVu launches Hispanic social media news release

NEW YORK: MultiVu has announced the launch of Interactivo Multimedia News Release (IMNR), a social media news release targeting the US Hispanic audience.

NEW YORK: MultiVu has announced the launch of Interactivo Multimedia News Release (IMNR), a social media news release targeting the US Hispanic audience.

IMNR offers distribution of broadcast content, photos, and text to Hispanic social networks and news sites. Video content will also be distributed to video-sharing sites such as MiGente and HispaVista. And IMNR content will appear in Spanish on the Reuters billboard in Manhattan's Times Square. MultiVu has displayed video on the Reuters sign since last month.

IMNR is one of a number of multimedia offerings that the company has planned for its newly-launched division for the US Hispanic market, MultiVu Latino. The division builds upon MultiVu's existing Hispanic services and leverages Hispanic PR Wire's (HPRW) distribution network. HPRW was acquired by PR Newswire (PRN) for $5.5 million in January.

“The acquisition helped us to come into this full steam ahead,” said Todd Grossman, MultiVu's VP of sales and client services. “It gave us all that we need in terms of resources in order to service the Hispanic community in their communications needs.”

PRN president of multicultural markets and HPRW co-founder, Manny Ruiz, will head up MultiVu Latino.
