New York Women in Communications elects new president

NEW YORK: Weber Shandwick's Nancy Rabstejnek Nichols was elected president of New York Women in Communications for the 2008-09 year. She succeeds Kristine Welker, VP of sales and marketing for Hearst Digital Media, who will continue to serve on the organization's board, as well as the president of the New York Women in Communications' Foundation. Rabstejnek Nichols is SVP of external affairs at WS.
