FEI hires director of comms

LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND: The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), the international governing body for Olympic equestrian disciplines, hired Richard Johnson as director of communications, effective Sept. 8. In this newly-created position, Johnson will to define, develop, and implement an immediate and long-term communications program for the FEI. One focus of his job will be working with the International Olympic Committee. Johnson is currently finishing work as head of media for The Children's Society. FEI worked with Sports Recruitment International to make this hire.
